St Anne's Perricoota is located on the banks of the Murray less than one hour North of Bendigo at the popular tourist haven of Echuca-Moama. Perricoota (meaning Red Kangaroo) is one of Australia's most recent and fastest growing wine regions in Australia. The area features deep red loam soils and a consistent growing season with very long sunshine hours, crucial for ripening late varieties. The St Anne's Perricoota vineyard is still relatively young, at just 10 years of age however, early signs indicate that the majority of their varieties are well suited to this climate with medals won for all at premium level. Particularly successful has been the Cabernet, Shiraz and Chardonnay.
